If you’re reading this review you’re probably very familiar with drum machines and maybe deciding between spending the extra money on this or native instruments maschine. I sold my mpc 2500 and contemplated the same question. I purchased native instruments maschine in 2011 and I liked it but I didn’t love it. The workflow is innovative but very different if you’re an mpc user. The pad response isn’t quite instant, so It had to go. I later heard about the Renaissance and purchased it. THIS DRUM MACHINE IS worth the wait and the money! It includes all of the legacy sounds (mpc 60, 2000/2000 XL, 2500, 3000, 4000 and 5000) and I had it up and running in the first 15 minutes. It’s built like a tank. The pads feel great and the lights help when sequencing. The built in audio box is a nice feature so no need for a mixer when sampling directly into the mpc. Take your time when deciding because it is your money after all but if it is on this product you won’t be disappointedYou can buy your own HERE
